1958

Mr. Kalidas Hargovinddas Patel had started rice mill with capacity of 0.5 MT per hour.

1967

Mr. Ramesh Patel went to United States to learn new and latest technology of that time with an aim to start a bigger mill.

1976

Started another mill in Gujarat with 1 MT per hour capacity and started their own brand and in a short span of 3 years, it became a well- known brand in the market.

1980

Started branding in Gujarat and Maharashtra.

1993

Gradually increased the capacity and reached 4 MT per hour and within a short span of 5 years, dryer and sortex plants were fixed.

1999

Mr. Nirav Patel (3rd Generation of Patel family) joined with an aim to reach newer heights.

2003

Started another rice mill in 65,000 sq.m of land with 8 MT per hour capacity. It was considered as the biggest plant in the entire Gujarat. In this year started supplying to Exporters. We planted 10,000 plants and thus has eco- friendly place.

2009

Increased capacity and drying along with new plant with 8 MT per hour. Started branding in PAN India with brands - Green and Green, Green Diamond, Super Green, Green field, GNG. We were packing IR 64 parboil rice, IR 8 parboil rice, GR 11 parboil rice and Gujarat basmati parboil rice.

2015

Started export along with increasing capacity of 5 MT per hour's new plant

2022

Started new venture named GNG Agro Products Pvt. Ltd. with 2 other partners.
